Vacation turns into teaching experience
On Jan. 20, as many high school students were busy preparing for end of course exams and tests, the Davies family was crossing through four states, headed south.
Destination: Guaymas, Mexico, a city on the coast of the Sea of Cortez in northern Mexico. All eight members of the Boise family, (Mom, Susan; Dad, Dave; Katie, 17; Erin, 15; Rachel, 12; Grace, 12; Eric, 7; and Andrew, 5) were along for the ride.

Big Brothers Big Sisters benefits both 'bigs' and 'littles'
Do you remember trying to dress like an older brother or sister? Trying to walk like them, talk like them; listening to the same music they did?
Big Brothers Big Sisters makes matches of admirable high school students (bigs) with elementary school kids (littles) to try and ensure that every child has someone to look up to. For more than 100 years, this program has introduced tens of thousands of bigs and littles to each other in hope that there will be a change in at least one life.
